Situated at Borupana Road, Ratmalana, Green Mart is a gourmet grocery store with a strong emphasis on helping the community by adding value and simplifying the life of residents of the Ratmalana area and beyond.
Take care of your weekly grocery shopping needs at Green Mart, which goes a step further and provides free delivery of daily essentials to customers residing within a three-kilometre radius of the store. This initiative falls under the social responsibility promise of the Hameedia Group’s My Friend Foundation.

Managing Director Fouzul Hameed said, “When COVID-19 struck Sri Lanka and the world, next to safety, food was the next main concern. We, as a nation, went through a lot of hardships as people struggled to find food. So, as a corporate, Hameedia looked at how we could contribute to feeding the community. The result of our efforts was ‘Green Mart’. This is an organic, ethical initiative to provide food and other essentials to the community.”
