Janaka Wijewardana, new President of FTZ Toastmasters Club

The 15th installation ceremony of the FTZ Toastmasters Club Katunayaka for 2020 was held with much pomp and glamour recently at Hotel Stargazer Seeduwa with DTM Noorul Munawwara participating as the chief guest and DTM Dirgha Subbha as the guest of honour. Manager Leaf, Training & ISO United Tobacco Processing Janaka Wijewardana took over the responsibility as President of the FTZ Toastmasters Club Katunayaka at the event.

TM Eranga Solangaararachci, Event Chair making the opening remarks said Confidence, Friendship and Encouragement have kept Toastmasters of FTZ together over the past 15 years. Chief Guest is District Director District 82 Sri Lanka, Toastmasters International USA.

Chief guest DTM Noorul Munawwara, addressing the audience said it was great to see a Toastmaster club with an existence of 15 years and the main contributing factor to this success has been the strength of its membership.

This 5G trial network was enabled in collaboration with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) who has led the region in making available the spectrum in the 3.5GHz band for the piloting of pre-commercial 5G services.
