CINEC Campus has introduced a degree programme, “Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) in Banking & Finance, approved by University Grant Commission is equivalent to Level 6 of the Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF).
CINEC as a Non-State leading academic institution in Sri Lanka has realized its prime responsibility in producing qualified, efficient and skilled human resources in the field of Banking and Finance to meet national, industrial and regional needs. The programme has been designed to cater undergraduates who wish to pursue an academic or professional career in Banking and Finance disciplines. Entry requirement for the degree is GCE (Advanced Level) examination or any other qualification of comparable standing recognized by UGC of Sri Lanka such as Edexcel / Cambridge with minimum 3 passes in any stream.
Banking and Finance sectors play an important role in economic development of any country in the world. These sectors are considered as the major service sectors contribute a considerable amount to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country.

DFCC Bank was jointly awarded third place with Central Bank of Sri Lanka as one of the top CIMA employers in the country, while no second place award awarded.
‘Fun Baking for Kids’, organized by Singer Sri Lanka in partnership with Beko, witnessed young amateur chefs pitting their skills to conjure up lip-smacking confectionaries during the festive season.
Apart from a resourceful way in which to spend the holiday season, ‘Fun Baking for Kids’ has proved to be a highly engaging and fun-filled event for entire families for the past few years. Repeating its success yet again, Fun Baking for Kids was held during the recent 2019 Christmas holidays at the Beko Flagship Store in Horton Place.
The event witnessed the participation of children in the 8-13 years category. The Singer-Beko alliance created this fun concept to ignite a passion for baking amongst children as a creative and fruitful hobby that develops important skills in children. Involving children in the kitchen has been linked to a direct increase in food awareness, consumption, and personal confidence, according to research published by the Cambridge University Press.
